Western Idaho Fair Twenty Seventeen

We've started some traditions the past few years as a family - one of them being the Western Idaho Fair. This year has been the most fun yet, but a bit more chaotic as a family of four. To see Leo's face light up when he sees all the colors and rides makes me giddy. We are re-living a pretty awesome childhood through his eyes and the feeling is indescribable. Hank took a warm snooze on me most of the time, but woke up at dusk to see all the lights come to life. We stayed out way too late and made the best memories.

Introducing Leighla

This is Leighla. Leighla is beautiful, bright-eyed and oh so loved. We had the best time full of playful snuggles with big brother Parker, and hugs + kisses from Mom and Dad. I can't tell you how important these sessions are - they hold memories for you and loved ones for generations to come.

Meet Paxton

You guys. I can't believe how lucky I am to have the clients I do. This beautiful family just welcomed baby #4, cutie pie Paxton. He is very alert and busy observing how much fun his older brothers + sister have and he can't wait to join in on the fun. All four of them are blessed with the best parents. They get it. They know that the chaos is full of beauty, fun and play. Based on these captures, I think it is pretty obvious that they enjoy living each day to the fullest.

Sweet Ava

Meet Ava. She has the sweetest big brother Jack and is already so loved by her parents and Mimi. I'm so grateful my job introduces me to such wonderful families and allows me the opportunity to document their journey through parenthood. It goes way too fast, but they will always have these little memories to treasure.

School of Soccer Part II

Last fall, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Steve Gamboa with School of Soccer. Leo has been a part of the program for awhile now, and I cannot say enough good things about it. It is wonderful to watch the kids come out of their shell and learn to play together. They improve upon listening skills, work their way through obstacles and most importantly - have fun! Spring registration is now open - checking them out is a must!

There is more cuteness to share, so be on the lookout for Part II!

Belmont Barbershop

A reminder of why this project is so important to me. I've felt in a bit of a photographer rut lately (I'll blame it on the pregnancy hormones) and when I stepped into the Belmont Barbershop I immediately became flooded with inspiration. Leo loves going to the "baabor" with Dada and is the best little boy. And now I have at least a few of these fleeting moments documented. @belmont_barbershop is fantastic and his shop is the coolest, go check him out!

Our Day in The Grand Tetons

A personal blog post. A peek into our lives as we traveled over to Island Park, ID. I made this trip almost every summer growing up, and I hope to do the same as our family grows. This last fall, we were able to cross over into Grand Teton National Park (through Yellowstone) and it did not disappoint. It was an unusually warm autumn day and the colors were unreal. My heart is full looking back on these images and we feel grateful as a family to have had this experience.

Maternity and Newborn Photographer in Boise, ID | Theodore | Part 2

Theodore has arrived! I got to know Theodore’s parents, Joe + Ashley, through the mini announcement + maternity sessions, included in the Bump to Babes package. We created some beautiful images (see them here!) and I couldn’t wait to receive the call and see them again - this time as parents! Their newborn session is one of my favorite sessions to date. Their smiles could not be any bigger and their hearts not any fuller.

Welcome to the world, little one.

Maternity and Newborn Photographer in Boise, ID | Theodore | Part 1

Welcome! I’m happy you’re here. This website is a showcase of my work, my passion, my ability and my perspective. I am a documentary storyteller, and I capture the moments that make life beautiful. A lot of energy has been put into representing my vision and versatility. Everyone has a unique journey full of emotion and adventure. I would love to get to know you and be the one to capture those fleeting moments that come together to tell YOUR story.

So for now, meet Joe + Ashley. Ashley contacted me about the Bump to Babes package and it has been a dream to work with them and get to know them better as they became parents and welcomed sweet Theodore into this world. As I stepped into their beautiful home for the announcement mini session, I could feel the excitement and anticipation filling up the room.

Couple sitting on their bed, holding their two dogs and kissing, while holding pictures from their ultrasound in a maternity photography session.

It was a perfect spring day when we met again for the maternity session. Rain clouds moved off in the distance as the evening sun began to peek through creating a beautiful rainbow. Our time spent together was so fun. I observed with a smile as they built memories of last moments being just a pair. Their love for one another was undeniable.
